Olivier Giroud who plays as a striker for Premier League giants Chelsea has admitted that he is ready to leave the Stamford Bridge landlords due to lack of active playing time.
So far this season in the English topflight, Olivier Giroud has not started a match for Chelsea and the striker has now expressed frustration.
Before the start of the ongoing season in England, Olivier Giroud almost left Chelsea with Tottenham and Crystal Palace said to be interested in the Frenchman.
However, Chelsea gaffer Frank Lampard was able to convinced Olivier Giroud for him to remain at Stamford Bridge.
According to the report on UK Sun, Olivier Giroud explained that he is aware of his lack of active playing time and confirmed his readiness to do something in January 2021.
“I'm aware of my situation. I will have to make a decision in January. I hope I make the right one as I've always done.
"It's worrying because I thought I still had a role to play in this team, especially after ending last season so well and helping the team qualify for the Champions League."
Before joining Chelsea, Olivier Giroud played 180 games for Arsenal between 2012 to 2018 scoring 73 goals, and for the past two seasons that he has been with Chelsea, the World Cup winner has featured in 62 games netting 13 goals.
Chelsea are currently occupying third position on the Premier League table with 18 points after nine games so far.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Chelsea are desperate in cutting their salary scale and have contacted Italian club Napoli over the possibility of a loan deal for Italian midfielder Emerson Palmieri.
Italian outlet Repubblica via SunSport are claiming that the 26-year-old star is set for a loan spell at the Naples outfit joining Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Emerson’s future at the Stamford Bridge club remains in doubt as he is yet to make an appearance for the Blues since the arrival of Ben Chilwell from Leicester last summer.
And boss Frank Lampard won’t mind sending him to Napoli on loan and if possible, they will further make the deal permanent with the Serie A club.
