The minister said if the hoodlums responsible for the attack are arrested it will deter others from repeating such in the future.
He said:
“We toured the H/Q today & it wasn’t a good sight. If people are arrested for the crime perpetrated, they will not do it again. We have to go after the hoodlums & ensure they pay."

Amaechi explained that while the right to protest is backed by Nigerian laws, lawful protests do not include the burning of public and private properties.
He said when he was a student; he participated in protests but never destroyed people’s property.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has declared that he will not allow a repeat of the nationwide demonstration which led to the loss of lives and destruction of properties.
The president made the statement on Tuesday, November 17, during a quarterly meeting of the National Security Council (NSC).
Buhari, however, promised to carry the youths and necessary stakeholders along in ensuring that the violence that marred the recently held protest is prevented in the future.
In another news report, the federal government has declared that there is an urgent need for the rebuilding of trust between the government and the governed.
This was disclosed in Lagos by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo during the Rebuild Lagos: Dialogue and Partnership event.

Osinbajo said government at all levels must do everything to rebuild the lost confidence with the people.
