Serious race for the 2020/21 Golden Shoe award has already started in Europe with the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi performing well for their clubs.

Last season, Robert Lewandowski was so superb for Bayern Munich in all competitions as the 32-year-old helped the Bundesliga side to win treble.

He has also started the current season on an impressive note with great performances for Bayern Munich who are still aiming to win the League title this term.

In the 2019/20 race for the Golden Shoe award, Ciro Immobile beat Robert Lewandoski to win the award thanks to his incredible games for Lazio.

However, the Italian footballer will have to fight this year to be able to compete with the trio of Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo scored 13 set-pieces in the colours of Manchester United, and 33 during his nine-year spell with Real Madrid and one with Juventus.
