Things went terribly bad for Rocha Okorocha on Thursday, February 25, when an Imo state high court ordered the forfeiture of some of his properties acquired between 2011 and 2019.
Delivering the verdict in Owerri on Thursday, Justice Fred Njemanze said the assets were illegally gotten by the former governor while he was in office, Channels TV reports.
The judgment against Okorocha came afterBarrister Louis Alozie (SAN) filed a petition in the court on behalf of the state government.
Some of the properties include the controversial Royal Spring Palm Hotels and Apartments, the Eastern Palm University, Ogboko, IBC staff quarters meant for the purpose of Rochas Foundation College, Owerri, and Magistrate Quarters.
