Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar hailed ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday.

The Ogun State native and one-time Head of State adds another year today.

Atiku, on behalf of his family, wished the former leader a warm birthday celebration.

“It is to the glory of the Almighty that you are celebrating today, and it is my fervent prayer that you shall live longer.

“In your lifetime, Nigeria shall be great again. I wish you many happy returns and congratulations, Sir”, his statement read.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in 2019 was Obasanjo’s deputy from 1999 to 2007.

Obasanjo supported his ambition and candidacy in the election won by President Muhammadu Buhari.
