Fayose, during his days in power, was known for different theatrics that generated reactions on social media.

Governor Ganduje's riding of the motorbike is, however, for a different purpose, unlike Fayose's.

He rode on one of the bikes when he inaugurated bikes procured by the Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) to control traffic.

While inaugurating them on Sunday, April 18, Ganduje said they would be used to ensure that road users comply with traffic regulations.

He said the bikes would enable KAROTA personnel to move quickly to monitor traffic, trace violators and go around the city to fish out those smuggling illicit and substandard goods into the state.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that Governor Ganduje said there is a major defect in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and that it still remains a mixture of political parties.

It was reported that he said the party has not moved to the next level of graduating from a “mixture” to a “compound.”

He disclosed this at a town hall meeting organised by the APC Constitutional Review Committee for the northwest held in Kano on Monday, April 5.

He, however, praised the party for not disintegrating despite the culture of such permeating the country's political landscape.

In a related report that Ganduje claimed that the videos showing him stuffing bales of dollars into his pockets in 2018 were doctored.

Ganduje made the claim on Friday, March 19, during an interview on the BBC Hausa service.

He denied ever receiving bribes from anyone. He said he sued Daily Nigerian, which first published the videos in 2018, demanding N3billion in damages. He stated the case has not made progress in court.
