Finally The Unknown Gunmen And Their Nurse In Rivers State Are Killed By The Rivers State Police Command In Oyigbo (Details below)





A tactical team of the Nigerian Police has stormed the hideout of some of the fleeing wounded gunmen in Oyigbo Local Government Area, Rivers State, killing four of them and a female nurse.

The slain gunmen were being treated by the nurse identified simply as Chichi in a hidden area of Oyigbo when the squad surrounded the building and opened fire on them.

It was gathered that sensing danger one of them on drip attempted to escape by scaling the fence unknown to him that area had been surrounded by armed policemen, who shot him dead.

The policemen subsequently gained access to the building and killed three others receiving treatments and the The nurse, who was caught up in the gunfire, was also hit by a bullet.

The victims are said to be the gunmen who recently murdered seven policemen in Surprise and coordinated attacks on security formation along the east west road and Elimgbu police station.

A security source which spoke in confidence said the bandits were trying to get medical treatment for multiple bullets wounds inflicted on them by the police when luck ran out of them.

He said recently gunmen who disguised as security operatives killed seven policemen when they attack and killed the police men at East West Road in Emuoha.

During that attack the police engaged in a long battle with them.

From reports he said that they are IPOB members. Five registration booklets of IPOB, many charms and ammunitions were recovered from them. He said u need to see their bodies ridiculed by bullets wounds. Though the bullet will not kill them because of the charms. The effects of injuries will show.

All Items recovered from the scene are transfered to the Oyigbo and will later be transferred to Rivers Police Command.
