Asking For Biafra Nation Is A Waste Of Time, Here Is The Simple Things Igbos Should Do Now (Details below)

Because of its importance to the unity of Nigeria and the preservation of peace, the 2023 presidential election could eventually become one of the most popular and talked about elections in the country’ s history. instead of asking for Biafra which i deemed a waste of precious time, I think Igbos should get a strong candidate and prepare for 2023.

One of the things that makes this election year special is that, if all goes well, it could be Nigeria’ s first democratically elected president from the southeast.

Since the country’ s return to independence in 1999, the southeastern region has lost many jobs.

Recent calls for segmentation, reorganization, and self- discovery have arisen as a result.

Igbo- speaking nations in the southeast, on the other hand, need to make Nigerians show their determination to get a president, in addition to the many conflicts and conferences held on the need to replace the president and bring the region to power.

In fact, the region should introduce a person who will be trusted and able to represent the people of South East and Nigerians as a whole.

The myth of the 1999 presidential election, in which two Igbo sons ran for president, is something we will never forget. We have seen Alex Ekweme go along with Obasanjo in the PDP primaries, which he later later lost to Obasanjo; Ogbonnaya Onu ran for the APP but eventually abandoned his campaign and allowed Chief Olu Falae.

Rocha Okorocha ran for president in 2003 on the ANPP platform, but was defeated due to a lack of South- East support.

Northern elder Isa Funtua has indicated that the presidency will not be awarded to the Igbo on a silver platter. He also pointed out that the Igbo man should strive to be president by engaging in inclusive politics. This shows that the Igbo race needs to get up, end the conflicts and riots, and get back to work.

The presidential election is less than two years away, and the Igbos must introduce a candidate who will force Nigerians, meet him regardless of party affiliation, and let politics continue.
