Suspected CIOs send live bullets to ZCTU leaders

ZCTU President Peter Mutasa and Secretary Japhet Moyo on Tuesday received letters containing death threats and two live bullets from suspected members of the Central Intelligence Organisation.

The pair were accused of plotting to organize a stayaway on Monday and were told that if that goes ahead them and their families will be shot in cold blood.

We are aware that you are planning ghetto meetings disguised as labour fora to mobilize the people including rowdy elements for a stay-away on-22 July 2019. If our businesses are destroyed during that stay-away, be warned that these bullets will get into your ass.

We have got plenty bullets for you and your family. This time we are not going to sit and watch while you mobilize hooligans to destroy our businesses. We have hired mercenaries to deal with you once and for all – unless you stop what you are planning.
