Mike Nyahungwe pleaded guilty to the charge and was remanded in custody to tomorrow for sentencing.
Prosecutor Spiwe Makarichi alleged that on June 2 Nyahungwe was intercepted at a police roadblock in Guruve where he was putting on a 1-2 infantry battalion t-shirt.
He drew the attention of soldiers who were part of the roadblock who enquired if he was a soldier.
The suspect lied to the soldiers that he was indeed a soldier but failed to give his force number.
