Zanu PF wields the axe, blocks G40 members comeback

Zanu PF's politburo yesterday upheld the suspension of Mashonaland West deputy chairman Dexter Nduna and former Matabeleland North youth chairman Tamuka Nyoni while also blocking former Youth League secretary Kudzai Chipanga from rejoining the party.

Nduna would not hold any party position for one year but will remain a card-carrying member. He was also ordered to attend the school of ideology for reorientation.

Nyoni was suspended from holding any position in the party for five years but remains a card-carrying member of the party after his province recommended his expulsion for receiving money from Tajamuka to organise the foiled July 31 protests.

Mash East minister Apolonia Munzverengi was demoted from the Women's League national commissar to deputy secretary of lands.
